What REFUGE is doing to help
Every day over 5,000 children die because they don’t have access to
clean water. That equals out to around 1.8 million children dying
every single year. This. Is. A. Serious. Problem.
REFUGE was built around the passion of being Jesus to the poor. So
when this clean water crisis was revealed to us, God immediately broke
our hearts. We had to get involved. And we just didn’t want to talk
about it. We wanted to be a part of the solution. This is where
adventconspiracy.org came into the picture. The concept of Advent
Conspiracy is simple: Worship Fully, Spend Less, Give More, Love Well.
So Christmas has become "different" at REFUGE. A time where people give more than they get.
REFUGE partnered up with Radius Church and raised around $30,000 for fresh water wells. This
Spring, REFUGE is sending 6 individuals on a trip down to Nicaragua to drill these wells
themselves and share the Gospel with the least of these. Please pray for REFUGE and the people
they are sending to Nicaragua March 5-12, 2011. This is an injustice that REFUGE is determined
